Chasing Zero is a charity based in the UK which provides funding for HIV/AIDS treatment and care, mainly for pregnant women in Saharan Africa. The charity works with other charities, and helps provide training for local people who can then assist with treatment in their own community. The overall goal of the charity is to help achieve the global aim of eradicating HIV/AIDS.
They also have a unique approach to fundraising by offering “pregnancy twinning”, whereby a pregnant woman in the UK can pay £40 to be twinned with a pregnant woman in Malawi. The £40 is used to pay for various medical checkups for the pregnant woman in Malawi.
